Witnessing a cycle of growing things really invigorated the kid’s curiosity about nature. It is Bryan’s hope that garden based education will shape generations to come as these lucky kids will grow up knowing where food really comes from.

Next year the plan is to extend the vegetable garden to include an in-ground garden plot. The project involves the corporation of the school board, JRPS grants as well as Seeds for Change Gardens and their corporate sponsors as well as the knowledge of Backyard Groceries employees.

Bryan from Backyard Groceries served as the East- Markham Garden Coordinator for Seeds for Change Gardens in 2013.
